A collapsible and mobile kitchen frame, easy to  rearrange/personalise

IKEA has the ambition to supply “excellent form and function, good everyday quality with built-in sustainability at a low price, affordable for many people”. In other words, what it defines as Democratic Design. One thing we know for sure is that people have changed in the past 15 years, and they will continue to change over the next 15 years, including those for whom IKEA once defined Democratic Design. This means that the definition of Democratic Design will also have changed by 2025.

I’m suggesting a platform where people are able to change their kitchen space in a playful way. The kitchen frame will be theirs to define with easily manageable 'clip-on' storage, workspaces, heating and cooling to effortlessly create a kitchen system of their own. Democratic Consumption has evolved to Democratic Production. A kitchen should not be a room, but your kitchen in a room.
